So Duncan & myself decided on a impromptu getaway few days back.
Nothing beats getting outta Singapore to take a breather.
And noo,Duncan is my childhood bestie,not my brokeback buddy or whatever you call it.Bish!
We booked a fairly gorgeous suite….and the hotel pool is decent.
Perfect for us to just slack & soak up the sun.

If you’re a fan of gourmet cupcakes like myself,you’ll have to try Sparkles Cupcakes Bakery.
Duncan who also bakes amazing cupcakes for fun introduced me to Khun Sophie,a bubbly Thai-American from Southern California who bakes all the cupcakes herself.
These well crafted,finely baked cupcakes are for grown ups(like moi) who love a bit of the sweet life.
Sophie also told us that her cupcakes are completely organic with no chemicals,preservatives,palm oil,margarine,trans fat,glucose,bleached flour or sugar..and she is passionate abt using the best ingredients like organic eggs & vanilla from Madagascar.
They ain’t exactly the prettiest cupcakes…But definitely one of the best I’ve tried.
My personal fav is the Lavender cupcakes made of real flowers.

Don’t be fooled by the weird name,I like it that this brick eatery looks all rugged,the way i’ll want my place to be.

I don’t get how you have to be a ~huge fan to have appreciated someone’s talent. I love a few songs she sang and I definitely think she was a large part of my mother’s music taste growing up. She also gave spectacular performances on stage, so let someone have a few grieving seconds for a relevant artist and performer and just stop shitting on everyone who falls in the between category of being a fan. You don’t need to be a die hard fan of someone or something for it to affect you when she, he or it goes away indefinitely. Maybe you can relax on the subject because who fucking cares how other people react.
